One of my favorite event of the year to photograph is the World Fire Knife Championships. I think this is one of the most technical type of photos to capture. You have to shoot at such a slow speed to get the full spin of the fire and at the same time stop the dancer from blurring. This is easy to do with a flash like in the first photo, but during the competition flasher are not permitted. Shoot most of this at a 10th of a second.
